Event Coordinator

Montreal, Canada

Objective

The Event Coordinator will work with the marketing team to support FCBB in developing and maintaining a high level of communication standards in a non-profit environment, enabling the organization to achieve its goals.

Location: Montreal, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the end-to-end – planning, coordination and execution - of events trough out the country;

  • Creating and updating logistical plans, event timelines and strategic promotions individually for each event;

  • Ordering event materials and marketing items;

  • Events’ participation in loco;

  • Communications and relationship-building with FCBB members, partners, speakers and many other stakeholders involved in the event process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in event coordination or execution;

  • Ability to provide creative input and suggest innovative ways to communicate marketing messages;

  • Excellent time-management, organizational and communication skills;

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills;

  • Must be fluent in French, English and Portuguese;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Event Planning, Marketing, Advertising or a similar field is preferred.

Objective

We are seeking a strong self-motivated, self-starter, driven by results, to be our IT Coordinator. The IT Coordinator will create, manage and update lists according to business and organizational level needs. Understanding the crossover between lists and ideating ideal campaign structure closely with our Business Development, Marketing, Operations and Leadership teams with the implementation of lead scoring systems to increase nurture capacity and generate leads in a non-profit environment, enabling the organization to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working deeply with HubSpot CRM;

  • Assist with the configuration of HubSpot objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and formula fields, reports and dashboards;

  • Design and build data models on HubSpot;

  • Develop, enhance, and support highly customized applications;

  • Support the day-to-day running of various client instances within HubSpot;

  • Interact with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements;

  • The position demands to work with clients directly on some projects, so the ability to work with clients is a must.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2 year’s experiences as IT and HubSpot;

  • Experience configuring and managing campaigns within CRM and marketing automation platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo, ExactTarget, etc…);

  • Excellent organizational skills and a good grasp of marketing and sales outreach tools like HubSpot and Salesforce.

  • Ability to organize and create structure within complex systems and excellent analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with Data Loader and HubSpot security settings including permissions, roles, profiles and sharing;

  • Knowledge data management tools;

  • Problem-solving – You're resourceful, know how to creatively solve problems, identify gaps and have excellent analytical skills;

  • Hungry – Willing to take on more responsibility for career and skill growth;

  • The candidate will need the ability to “own” projects and perform a detailed analysis of client business requirements;

  • Strong Communication and Flexibility – Easily adapt to change and evolution in a growing office and willing to take on more responsibility for career and skill growth;

  • Bachelor Degree in Technology Information or a similar field is preferred;

  • Fluency in English mandatory; fluency in Portuguese preferable.
